This intensive course is part 1 of the UNIcert II programme and leads to UNIcert II for “General Academic English”. You need two more courses (EAP II+III) for a UNIcert certificate. The course provides a balanced program, focusing on the skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing in academic English, while covering essential grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and idioms. The course will help you enrich your vocabulary in more specific and technical topics. You will be able to participate and express yourself easily in seminars and debates. You will also understand longer texts on subjects of your field of study and main points of recorded or broadcast audio material spoken in clear standard speech.
